Multi-user

Unlimited users are included — we do not charge per seat — and several people can work in the same dataset at once without treading on each other.

• As many users as you need on every dataset, at no extra cost.
• Concurrent editing is safe: a transaction being edited is locked against a second editor.
• Every user has their own login, language, date and number formats, and saved report layouts.
• The employee record and the login are the same person, so sales and commission reporting follows naturally.
• Roles decide what each user sees; two people can share a dataset and see completely different menus.
• Sessions expire on their own, and a user can be suspended without losing their history.
• The audit trail records which user made each change.

Adding users

1. Every user is an employee record with a login: HR › Employees › Add Employee, then the login, password and role fields.
2. Each signs in with their own login and keeps their own preferences and saved report layouts.
3. Two people cannot edit the same transaction at once: the second is told who has it open.
