Until now, ledger123.com and the hosting control panel were two separate applications. The website lived in one place and the panel where you created datasets, took backups and managed your logins lived in another, at account.ledger123.com.

They are now one application, at ledger123.com.

If you already have a hosting account

Nothing to do. Your account came across with your company datasets, and your existing email address and password still work.

Sign in at ledger123.com/signin and you will find your datasets on the dashboard, along with backups and the link through to SQL-Ledger, exactly as before.

The one thing that has changed is the address. If you had account.ledger123.com bookmarked, that address is no longer in service — use ledger123.com instead, and update the bookmark while you are there.

Please tell us rather than working around it. Email [email protected] — with your account email address and, if it is dataset-specific, the dataset name — and we will sort it out.

Why we did it

One application instead of two means one place to sign in, one set of sessions, and one codebase to keep secure and up to date. It also means the things we improve — the signup flow, the dashboard, backups — reach everyone at once instead of being fixed twice or, more honestly, once.

I have many assemblies and sub-assemblies. I created a new assembly, added items, and saved it. Now I wish to add more items. After adding, updating, and saving, the assembly shows the correct dollar value, but when I open the assembly, the added parts are not listed. Why is this happening, and how do I resolve the problem?

You cannot change an assembly which has been sold or stocked by simply editing it. You have to use the Changeup function to make the changes.
